About

Tsuyoshi Yamamoto and Yoshihiko Kannari, former engineer for the TBM label, reunited for their last album, Blues for K. This work, which was recorded at Kannari's private studio in Nasu Kogen, Tochigi Prefecture, by this duo, who have produced numerous world-class recordings from Japan, including Midnight Sugar and Misty, was covered by many audio magazines and won the Jazz Audio Disc Award 2022 Silver Prize. The work was featured in many audio magazines and won the "Jazz Audio Disc Award 2022 Silver Prize," among other accolades. In 2023, we will release a new recording of the same work in a professional studio.

In 2023, Yoshihiko Kannari will appear at Acoustic House in Tokyo to answer the call of "I'd love to hear it recorded in a professional studio! He will once again be at this studio, one of the most famous in Japan, where the TBM label has recorded in the past. The music will be a collection of ballads, mainly by Erroll Garner, whom Tsuyoshi Yamamoto has always admired and loved. The result is a challenging work for both musicians as they return to their roots. — (via Bandcamp, Tsuyoshi Yamamoto)
