Satoshi Tomiie has been a pioneering and driving force within the global electronic music community since the early days of house music. Now, decades after his 'Tears' alongside Frankie Knuckles, the Japanese born, New York and Paris based DJ, producer, remixer and label boss is still regular feature in the sets of many of today's underground elite. Tomoki Tamura is DJ / producer from Osaka, Japan. Influenced by black roots house music from United States. He developed his career playing in major clubs in Osaka and moved to London and started an event called "Holic" in 2004. His considerable talent of mix as a DJ was hosted at The End/AKA, Fabric, Ministry of Sounds. In 2012, He launched his new record label "Holic Trax" and established one of the keystones in the UK underground music scene.

Together they present their latest EP Dream Sketches for Berlin's Abstract Architecture label. A surreal blend of rattling dub echoes and beat crabs, the pair are seen sat in a recollective room of strange patterns, their skin greyed but facial expressions confident, matching the uncanniness of the EP, littered with both sonic funky foliage and dubious demurrals. 'Dream Sketches' and 'Bounce 60' sound like CAD explosions transposed into abstract sonic space, but theirs is an impossible architectural project, which makes cool noises nonetheless. 'Lost Keys' and 'Bahnhof 120' do rigidify things somewhat, but do not lose that trademark surrealism, that sense of jank. — via Label
