The past few years have seen Albrecht La’Brooy steadily hone in their unique spin on house and techno via releases on Night Tide, Voyage and Butter Sessions. In 2018, the duo kicked off the year with their debut album on Apollo/R&S ‘Tidal River’, perfectly setting the tone for the year to come. Here we see Alexander Albrecht deliver solo material under his newly formed Melquíades guise, first inaugurated on Francis Harris' Scissor & Thread imprint. All material is recorded in a live, improvised manner and looks towards more dancefloor-oriented sounds.
