Jazz guitar legend George Benson began his career unfeasibly young, recording for RCA at aged nine. After a spell with organist Jack Mcduff, he went solo in the early 1960s cutting volumes of Jazz and Soul before belatedly scoring hits as a lead vocalist. 

Irreplaceable dates from 2003,  when Benson had embraced the slick grooves of urban contemporary, working with Robert Bell's son Hakim, Joshua P Thompson and fellow Babyface collaborator, Joe. This gatefold sleeve reissue comes complate with three songs that appeared on certain later editioons, namely, 'Softly', 'In A Morning Sunrise', 'Take You Out' and 'Arizona Sunrise'.
