French multi-hyphenate FKJ has shared plans for new album ‘Tyber’.

The incoming project follows the success of his acclaimed album ‘V I N C E N T’, with sessions taking FKJ across the globe. Working continuously, the French musician has built a tribe of collaborators, each adding their own flavour.

The material moves from moments of solitude and reflection through to joyous renewal, with sessions taking place in London, Los Angeles, Paris, Brazil and Mexico.

Out later this year, the album is trailed by groove-infused new roller ‘Soulmates’. The tropical tones are laced with light, with FKJ commenting…

More than just a new record, Tyber captures a period of profound personal growth for FKJ. Created in the years following V I N C E N T, the album traces a journey through change, uncertainty and renewal, resulting in some of his most open and adventurous work to date. Funk grooves sit alongside jazz instrumentals, psychedelic textures and intimate songwriting, while collaborations with Lucy Park, Baby Rose, Bas, Eryn Allen Kane and Labrinth add fresh perspectives to the project.
