In 1961, this legendary trio recorded two seminal live albums during a single historic session - Sunday at the Village Vanguard and Waltz for Debby - the latter of which becoming the unit’s final effort due to LaFaro’s untimely death.

Fittingly, Waltz for Debby showcased the trio at their most inspired, led by Evans’ groundbreaking approach to harmony and improvisation.
