Using the mythologised original stems and recordings of Asha’s first four studio albums, there is a magical quality to these remixes that honour the originals while taking them into new sonic territory.

Glaswegian writer David Keenan (whose excellent article on Asha and Ornette Coleman inspired the name of this album) described disco as “the sound of the future, now.” It wouldn’t surprise us if the other-worldly, genre morphing Asha travelled to this planet from some intergalactic future to gift us her music.
