We are extremely happy to announce the 3rd edition of The Analog Assembly, which will take place at The Projector on 31 March, from 2 to 7 p.m.

For our third reiteration, we'll be doing things a little bit differently, with an eclectic lineup of vendors made up of ardent analog music aficionados, stalwarts of the Singapore music scene, as well as beloved vinyl record retailers. Expect Q&A features of our vendors in the upcoming weeks as we inch closer to the Assembly. Come and get-together with all of us. The Analog Assembly 2018 | Let's Get-Together | DJs Candy Says + Ramesh Live

Singapore, 31st March 2018 — Get ready for a day of live DJ sets, high fidelity tunes on wax, and vinyl crate-digging through thousands of used and new records, as The Analog Assembly returns for its third reiteration this month at The Projector.

The vinyl buy/sell/trade fair, The X∆ (“The X-Change”), will commence at 2 p.m., featuring thousands of vinyl records, CDs, cassettes and music magazines for sale.

Continuing from the success of past Assemblies (in 2015 and 2016), The Analog Assembly's 3rd edition will play host to eclectic lineup of vendors made up of ardent analog music aficionados, stalwarts of the Singapore music scene, as well as renowned vinyl record retailers.

Meet our vendors from music publications and local record labels, along with young and budding DJs and avid record collectors who will be trading vinyl records in a plethora of genres that reflect their unique personalities. A curated selection of established Singapore vinyl dealers including The Analog Vault, For The Record, Surface Noise, and record label Ujikaji Records as well as books collector The Arkhivist will be putting up their own music collections for sale too.

As The X∆ commences at 2 p.m., grab a coffee or drink at Intermission Bar - at The Projector and enjoy live DJ sets by Candy Says and Ramesh Krishnan.

From 2 to 5 p.m., The Analog Assembly will kick off with a live DJ set byCandy Says, formerly a part of indie collective 4imaginaryboys. The DJ twosome has played for music festivals, clubs and bars, and their often-dusted records cover alternative rock, indie electronica, shoegaze, folk, punk, post-punk, and the occasional Kanye.

Taking over the decks at 5 to 7 p.m., is Ramesh Krishnan, a true connoisseur of quality beats who not only shares his love for music through his own podcast – Meshradio, but has also earned the reputation as being one of the most respected and multifaceted DJs in Singapore. Having helmed residencies at many major clubs and throwing it down with the best in the world, and armed with a cache of rare tracks and floor fillers, witness him weave seamlessly through genres from jazz and boogie to tech house and even drum and bass with artistic ease.

About the venue:
The Projector revives two cinema halls and the 5th floor foyer of the historic Golden Theatre as an independent cinema and creative platform that brings together a great selection of films, one-of-a-kind events, versatile spaces and delectable fare. At the foyer, the Intermission Bar serves draft beer, wine, coffee, and a comprehensive menu of treats and snacks. The Great Escape, the always-happening outdoor bar located outside The Projector, next to the carpark, has become home to crazy post-screening afterparties.
