Update 17/09/16: As reported by Mass Appeal, Marvel has unveiled a new batch of hip hop covers featuring ScHoolboy Q, Insane Clown Posse and Action Bronson to name a few.

Original Article: Hip hop and comic books have had a long and storied connection, from MC Daniel Dumile's moniker MF DOOM paying homage to the Fantastic Four's metal faced villain to Wu-Tang Clan's Ghostface Killah taking on the pseudonym of Tony Starks for his 1996 album, Ironman.

Marvel continues their run of covers which features classic hip hop album covers turned into comic book cover art, with their second wave looking set to hit this fall. Featuring homages ranging from classic albums like LL Cool J's Bigger and Deffer (aka BAD) to Kevin Gate's recently certified platinum Islah.
