Recently announced by Be With Records, Willie Hutch's 1969 debut Soul Portrait, extremely rare 1970 sophomore album Season For Love and Edna Wright's iconic deep soul opus Oops! Here I Go Again will be set for a fall reissue.
More often known for his work on Blaxploitation soundtracks such as The Mack and Foxy Brown, Willie Hutch's solo work is pure southern soul, drawing much comparisons to predecessors Sam Cooke and Otis Redding.
While Edna Wright may be better remembered as the lead singer of soul all-girl group Honey Cone, her 1977 solo album is a deep soul classic which found much appeal as a rare groove dance floor hit.
All three reissues are set to be released on 11th November.
