European Synth Visionaries Vangelis, Popol Vuh, Ariel Kalma To Feature In New Compilation

Announced by Light In The Attic is their latest compilation of European synth music titled (The Microcosm): Visionary Music of Continental Europe, 1970-1986.

The compilation will feature prominent synth luminaries like Vangelis, Popol Vuh and Ash Ra Tempel, cult favourites Ariel Kalma and Gigi Masin, and also obscure musicians such as Enno Velthuys.

This release acts as a sequel to the label's 2013 compilation of American private press new age records titled I Am The Center.

Packaged as a 3LP set, and also available as part of a 6LP set bundled with I Am The Center. The compilation features in depth liner notes by Douglas McGowan and Jason Patrick Woodbury, remastered audio with previously unreleased tracks and several previously cassette only releases. Pressed on standard black wax and currently available only on preorder is a “Introspective Indigo” color wax limited to 500 copies.

Scheduled to be released on 4th November.
