[UPDATE] DJ Shadow Announces Endtroducing...Remix Album

Update 17/09/16: As reported by Pitchfork, the recently revealed Endtroducing... remix album will be part of a package titled Endtrospective which will come in either a 3CD or 6LP set. Also announced is a release date which has been set as 28th October.

Endtrospective will include the original album, a collection of demos, alternate takes and live versions, and the remix album, which is now titled Endtroducing... Re-Imagined. In addition to remixes by Clams Casino and Hudson Mohawke, it features remixes from Prince Paul, Teklife, Adrian Younge, Salva and more. Expanded liner notes and an interview between Shadow and Eliot Wilder, who wrote the 33 1/3 book on Endtroducing... will be included as well.

Original Article: In celebration of 20 years of the classic Endtroducing... Josh Davis aka DJ Shadow will be releasing a remix album of his career defining debut which will showcase a selection of remixes by Hudson Mohawke, Clams Casino and more.

As reported by Pitchfork, the release was announced by Shadow during a conversation with Clams Casino in the latest episode of The Talkhouse Music Podcast“This year is the 20th anniversary of Entroducing…, so curating this remix album, I wanted to provide another layer of perspective on the record and invite my current favourites and a few favourites from other eras to do remixes,” said Shadow.

No concrete release date has been announced yet, so keep a look out for more updates!
