The latest program from venerable Gypsy swing ensemble The Hot Club Of San Francisco focuses their creative mojo on the music of The Beatles.  John, Paul, George & Django explores the vast treasure trove of songs from the Fab Four’s songbook. The founder and guiding spirit of The Hot Club of San Francisco, America’s longest running Gypsy swing ensemble, Paul Mehling was first inspired to pick up a guitar when the Beatles launched the British Invasion via The Ed Sullivan Show.  John, Paul, George & Django reimagines familiar tunes such as “All My Lovin,” “Fool On The Hill” and “Hey Jude” in the style of the legendary Django Reinhardt.

The Hot Club of San Francisco is an ensemble of accomplished and versatile musicians celebrating the music of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli’s pioneering Quintette du Hot Club de France. The ensemble borrows the all-string instrumentation of violin, bass, and guitars from the original Hot Club, and breathes new life into the music with innovative arrangements and original compositions. – Babylin Artists
