Debut studio album from Australian electronic pop duo Empire of the Sun. Walking On A Dream was originally recorded throughout 2007 and was produced by band members Luke Steele and Nick Littlemore, along with Peter Mayes and Donnie Sloan.

Though they occupy the same aural terrain as bands like MGMT, Empire Of The Sun stand out in the crowd, chiefly due to their exceptional melodies and the fact that they don't take themselves too seriously.

Sophie Bruce of BBC Music raved that "[the duo's] talent is undoubtable and this album sounds like an instant classic", noting that "[t]his is the sound of the Noughties—electro enough without being harsh, interesting without being over-cool, quirky without being weird." – BBC
