Atrocity Exhibition is the fourth studio album by American hip hop recording artist Danny Brown. It was released on September 27, 2016, by Warp Records. It is primarily produced by British producer Paul White. The album features guest appearances from Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, Earl Sweatshirt, B-Real, Kelela and Petite Noir. The album was supported by three singles: "When It Rain", "Pneumonia", and "Really Doe". It received widespread acclaim from critics, and charted at number 77 on the Billboard 200. – Wiki

“As with its predecessors Old and XXX, Atrocity Exhibition contains moments of reflection and nuance is one is willing to look for them. Over druggy basslines like on “Downward Spiral”, manic vocal samples on “Lost”, and woozy piano melodies on “White Lines” and “Pnemonia”, Brown remembers his youthful, idiotic debauchery with drugs and recognizes how much it negatively impacted his life in the process. His unmelodic and goofy vocals match the sentiments found in his lyrics, while his wobbling flow mimics a drunkard’s walk down a lonely city street. Before Atrocity Exhibition, Danny had the lyrical content but sometimes failed to complement it with interesting production and flows. Now, however, everything’s fit perfectly into place like the most horrific yet engrossing jigsaw puzzle imaginable…

Just like ScHoolboy Q’s newest album Blank Face LP, Atrocity Exhibition is Danny Brown’s greatest musical achievement thus far because the Detroit native not only elevated his lyricism, but also complimented said lyricism with atmospheric production and distinct flows that accentuate everything he’s saying. As an album, it is both as lovably outrageous as Danny Brown, but also as menacing and impenetrable as his city is. Ultimately, it is this duality that makes Atrocity Exhibition the masterpiece it is.” – Popmatters

“Yet beyond this wired mix of post-punk anxiety, splintered techno elements and haunting soul samples, it’s Danny Brown’s rhyming ability that ultimately sees the LP flourish. As he puts it himself, he’s “nice with the bars, even the beat begs my pardon.” Brown constantly switches up flows, deftly weaving punchy pop culture homages into the off-base speedball stories, which makes for a compelling, if unnerving, concoction. Paul White, Alchemist, Black Milk, Petite Noir and Evian Christ handle the music, and while the tempo ebbs and flows, the ominous vibe never really lets up. Stellar posse cut ‘Really Doe’ gathers together Ab Soul, Earl Sweatshirt and Kendrick Lamar to spit scintillating raps over Black Milk’s pounding horror movie beat, which is shot through with a restlessly creepy bell ring, as ‘Today’ and ‘Pneumonia’ create an equally eerie minimalist flipside.” – CLASH
