Q: What is The Analog Vault?
The Analog Vault, established in 2015, is an online + offline retail establishment offering a wide and tightly curated range of vinyl records + other music & analog goods, including books & magazines relating to music and music culture.
We focus on the curation of music titles in the genres of jazz, hip hop, modern/experimental classical, electronic, world, and local music.
As such, our online store also aims to be a music discovery platform for aficionados in these genres.
Our brick-and-mortar store is located on the which is located on the second floor of the Esplanade mall in Singapore, the Esplanade being the premier music and performing arts venue in Singapore.
Here at The Analog Vault, we would like to believe that we are purveyors of fine music, and are tremendously respectful of the artists that make good music.
We aim to introduce, to a wider audience, music that represents good artistry and finesse in execution.
We are champions of the analog music culture, and strongly believe that listening to music on vinyl via an analog sound system is one of the best ways to enjoy good music.
We aim to help further cultivate and deepen the analog music culture in Asia.
We are also passionate about helping to build, shape, and deepen the jazz, electronic, and hip hop music communities in Asia.
Our goal is to establish The Analog Vault to be Asia’s leading proponent of analog music culture and fine music, as well as Asia’s leading retailer of vinyl records.
Q: What are the OutIn sessions?
OutIn is The Analog Vault’s signature in-store live performance series for progressive, challenging and relevant underground music of all genres and localities. We invite DJs and musicians who are pushing new sounds and concepts and provide a music and broadcasting avenue for their creativity and artistic expression.
Q: What are your delivery charges for orders within Singapore?
We charge a flat delivery fee of S$10 for all orders below S$100 within Singapore, and offer complimentary local delivery for orders above S$100.
We also allow for pick-up from our brick-and-mortar store, for free of course, though items have to be picked up within a month from the date of purchase.
Q: Do you ship overseas, and if so, what are your shipping charges?
We are pleased to offer shipping to most countries in Asia, including Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Brunei, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and China.
Shipping charges will be calculated automatically upon check-out, and our shipping rates within Asia are generally as follows:
1 LP - S$15
2 LPs - S$20
3 - 5 LPs - S$30
6-10 LPs - S$50
11-15 LPs - S$70
16-20 LPs - S$85
21-30 LPs - S$120
31-40 LPs - S$150
41-50 LPs - S$250
50-100 LPS - S$500
100-200 LPS - S$950

Q: Do you have a brick-and-mortar store / offline presence?
Yes, we do! We have a brick-and-mortar store located on the second floor of the Esplanade Mall in Singapore, which is open from 1pm to 9pm daily.
Our brick-and-mortar store carries our full range of products, including new + used vinyl records, compact discs, books, magazines, and other music-related goods.
We stock a few thousand unique new + used vinyl titles at our offline store.

Our brick-and-mortar store is open from 1pm to 9pm daily.
Customers who make purchases online can opt to pick up their records from our store at their convenience.
Q: How many vinyl records do you stock online and offline?
Our online platform focuses on featuring new and/or reissued vinyl records, across the genres of jazz, hip hop, modern/experimental classical, electronic, world, and local music. We currently have a few hundred unique vinyl record titles online.
For reissued albums, particularly jazz recordings, we have focused our efforts on selecting the best reissues available in the market, audio and quality wise.
Our brick-and-mortar store carries our full range of products, and we have more than a thousand unique used and new vinyl titles at our store. We have a few thousand unique vinyl record titles available offline.
Q: Are prices on the online store denoted in Singapore Dollars?
Yes, prices on the online store are currently denoted in Singapore dollars.
Q: Are your online prices the same as your offline prices?

Q: Do TAV member discounts apply here at your online store?

Q: What factors contribute to albums being part of the TAV Essential Listening on Vinyl section, versus the TAV Curator's Picks section?
TAV Essential Listening albums = classic albums in their respective genres which should belong in any music library.
We have also endeavoured to ensure that we have selected vinyl releases of good quality pressings, that will serve to satisfy even the demanding audiophile.
TAV Curator's Picks = interesting releases and discoveries handpicked by our curators.

Q: What other services do you provide?
- Sourcing of rare and out-of-print vinyl records;

- Record cleaning services on a state-of-the-art German-made Nessie Vinylmaster cleaning machine, which also includes the provision of new inner paper and outer plastic sleeves for every record cleaned | Note: this service is only made available to customers who are able to bring their records to our brick-and-mortar store.

Q: What is the online store's complaint / exchange / returns policy?
Please note our official complaint / exchange / returns policy for the online store as below, which differs from the exchange / policy at our brick-and-mortal store :
All vinyl records and media sales are final - returns are not accepted.
Warped records cannot be returned or exchanged for any reason. Some new records inevitably come with a slight warp due to imperfect presses and distributor storage.
We do not guarantee that you will like the music or recording quality of a LP, and a LP that does not conform to personal taste or preference does not qualify as a reason for exchange.
If you receive an item that appears to have been damaged in shipping, please contact us immediately. You MUST keep all of the packaging and packing materials and enclosed items together.
The other party shall inspect the goods upon delivery to check whether they comply with the agreement. The other party is obliged to submit to us, in writing, any complaints about the goods delivered by us, within 7 (seven) days after delivery. This also applies to the articles not ordered but delivered in error.
Manufacturing defects that are not visible or audible until the packaging is opened occasionally exist. If there are concerns with regards to an externally invisible defect, the other party shall submit to us, in writing, any complaints about the goods we delivered, within 7 (seven) days after delivery.
Any complaints shall be submitted by the other party, stating the packing slip number and our database number. Any complaints about invoices shall also be submitted in writing within 7 (seven) days after the date of the invoice.
Failing such a timely submission of complaints, any claims against us shall lapse.
Returns of the goods will only be considered if the goods are in the original undamaged packaging. Articles not purchased from us or with (price) tags not attached by us cannot be returned.
The goods returned must be received by us no later than 2 weeks after our authorization to return.
Unless agreed otherwise, return consignments are at the risk and expense of the other party.
Guarantee; limitation of liability:
With respect to the goods delivered by us, we shall only be liable for material and/or construction faults in the goods that must have been discovered within 5 (five) days after the date of delivery, in as far as such faults reduce the soundness or quality of the goods to a major extent. Our liability under this clause shall be limited to the delivery of replacing (components of the) goods free of charge. We shall be entitled to repair the defective (components of the) goods or to take them back with simultaneous reimbursement of the relevant part of the invoice price, instead of delivering replacing (components of the) goods. With respect to goods delivered by third parties to us and subsequently delivered by us to the other party, we grant the other party, also if the goods delivered by us have been composed of goods delivered to us by third parties, the same guarantee but no further guarantee as the guarantee granted to us by our supplier(s). The other party can only invoke our obligations under this clause after the other party has performed all its obligations resulting from the agreement concluded with us. If we are liable on any account, our liability shall be limited to the amount equal to the invoice value of the goods in question, exclusive of taxes, it being understood that we shall be only liable up to a maximum amount of SGD500.00 (five hundred Singapore dollars) per damage/loss event. A series of damage/loss causing events shall be deemed to be one single damage/loss event for the application of this clause. We shall never be liable for immaterial damage/loss, business damage/loss, indirect damage/loss, loss of profit or other consequential damage/loss. The other party shall be obliged to indemnify us against all claims from third parties related to the goods delivered by us, or, as the case may be, to the work carried out by us.
